Appointments
In accordance with the Veterinary Surgeons Act of 1966, veterinary consent is required prior to a veterinary physiotherapy appointment. Click Here to access the veterinary consent form. Should you wish us to contact your vet directly please let me know.
Initial appointments usually last 1 - 2 hours with follow on sessions usually last 1 hour.
What to expect from your animals veterinary physiotherapy appointment:
Taking a history of the animal (initial assessment only)
Static and dynamic gait analysis
Palpation (hands-on assessment of the animals musculoskeletal system)
Joint range of motion analysis
Treatment (including but not limited too: soft tissue massage, myofascial release, electrotherapies and stretching)
Home exercise plan (to aid the animals progress between sessions)
Full report sent to the veterinarian (initial assessment only)
Pricing
Equine initial consultation: £60
Equine follow-up appointments: £55
Canine initial consultation: £50
Canine follow-up appointments: £45
Laser only appointment (require an initial consultation): £35
It may be possible to claim veterinary physiotherapy costs through your animals insurance. Please contact your insurance for confirmation.
Payment is required in full at the time of appointment and can be made via cash or BACS.
A minimum of 48hours notice is required for cancellations. Failure to cancel within this time will incur a £25 fee.
Should your animal become unwell prior to the appointment please contact us as soon as possible to discuss whether treatment needs to be postponed.
